I went into town this morning to pick up various items, including a bunch of comics that were on sale (hurrah!), and when I got home I decided to go for a nap. I set my alarm for two hours later, only it didn't go off, and I've just woken up. At 2am. Bugger. My sleep pattern was already screwed and this is not going to help. Plus, I have a dissertation meeting at 9.30 :/

In other news, I've spent the last few days rewatching the first season of The X-Files and it's still so good. Everyone's so young and cute. I first started watching The X-Files in 1994. I was eleven, so naturally I missed a few things.

Although I went on to read Mulder/Scully fan-fiction, I never did support the relationship in the programme. Oh my god, who was I kidding? The sexual tension is so thinly veiled in the first season it may as well crawl out of the screen and hump your leg. There are tender smiles and touches and meaningful glances all over the place.

Also, Mulder is hot. This really is something that I've never really thought before. But he is. He's all tall and geeky and intelligent and hot.

It's a good thing I have seasons two and three on DVD too or I might go into withdrawl ;)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, nepenth! I hope you had a great day, and when I stop being so lazy, I will come up with some sort of gift for you.
