In good news, I finally finished the Sam, Dean and Bobby fanlisting (Family Don't End With Blood). I've been so rubbish with fanlistings lately that it makes me sad. The problem, I think, is that my work schedule is totally fucked. I have no routine because I'm taking extra hours all over the place (I worked 92 hours of overtime in June). But, hey, at least I might be able to pay my bills this summer so that's good, right?

EDIT: I CANNOT FIND MY PASSPORT AND I CAN'T OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT WITHOUT IT. I HAD IT YESTERDAY SO WHERE THE FUCK HAS IT GONE?!

Thing wot I must do today in order to convince myself I am a capable human being:

• Transfer €765 to Irish bank account (and try not to cry about it)

• Decide what other games can be sold to faciliate Project: Paying Council Tax

I'm really grateful that my Mum took me to Cracow for my birthday. It was fantastic. But in order to actually buy stuff when we were there and not be a complete financial drain on her, I skipped my loan payment. Which means I have to double up this month. The knock on effect of which is that I have no monies. So sad.

I have a couple of J2 recs, because they made me all happy inside. I actually have enough recs now to do another rec list, but omg effort!

J2 Heidi fic. I swear to god. Set in the modern day, it manages to keep the feel of Heidi without sticking to it slavishly. I absolutely adored this. *bundles up Jensen and Jared* Also, it has an awesome Jeff.

I estimate that I will actually manage to do about three of those things.

My mother flies in tomorrow and then on Thursday we both fly to an UNDISCLOSED LOCATION to celebrate my birthday, so here are the things wot I must do before then. So I don't forget and then cry when I get evicted for not paying my bills.

• Change broadband provider (Dear BT, you suck. A lot. Stop spending all your money on ads assuring us your broadband connection is superfantastic. It is not.)

I have returned from the land of the Picts - hurrah!

It's a long enough train journey from York to Glasgow, but it was enlivened by a nice Scottish man who gave me beer and refused to stop talking to me even though I was clearly reading the paper (for the record, reading The Guardian from cover to cover, including supplements, takes about four hours and stains your fingers black). Glasgow itself I really liked. Well, I really liked the bits I saw anyway. It seems like the kind of place which will suit me, unlike here, so fingers crossed that's true!

Flathunting went fairly well. We found somewhere that we love so we're really, really hoping that we'll get accepted for it. We should find out on Tuesday or Wednesday and then I'd be moving on the Friday. Good lord, it's all happening!

Big farewell party last night. I got back from Glasgow just in time to go to it, had a good time, drank, partied, danced, and got back here about 4.30am and the person in the room next to me was taping up boxes. AT 4.30AM! CRAZINESS! Then I got woken up at ten by the girl in the room across from me, who was taping up boxes in the hallway. I'm tired! Stop taping things!
