I'm not actually finished with this site yet (there's content to be added and thanks to Dreamhost making unannounced changes I can't actually create any new owned fanlistings in my Enthusiast panel at the moment (it's currently using the settings for another fanlisting)) but I wanted to see what people thought about the layout since it's a bit different from what I usually do. I quite like it, but I've been staring at it for a few hours so fresh eyes are welcome. Feel free to offer any criticisms you might have!

Have I gone mad or is there a J2 fic where one of the boys is a famous actor but the other is just a normal Uni student? I just reread something I thought was going to be that but wasn't and now I'm not sure if I made the whole thing up.

In what can only be described as a low point in my life, Facebook have sent me an e-mail reminding me that I haven't been on there lately and that since my last visit I have received 4 messages, 24 photo tags, 5 pokes and 2 friend requests. I don't really know why I hate Facebook as much as I do. When I was in York I resented it because people seemed to think it could replace actual face to face communication, which is complete bollocks. Now, it's really the only way I have to communicate with some people but I just don't like. I don't like using it ever and though I know I have a bunch of birthday wishes on there that I need to respond to, I'm really reluctant to log in. Damn you, Facebook, I think you might be the 21st Century version of my 20th Century hatred of talking on the phone.

So, I was watching Friends the other day and writing some J2. And instead of writing the J2 I was actually working on, I ended up writing this. I don't really know what happened. I also don't think I like it. It seems very dialogue heavy which is actually quite unlike me. But since I've written it, I'm going to post it. bekkis, after reading this you will no longer have to fear me laughing at any bad writing you might produce.

So, apparently I'm finally writing a sequel to the bad-evil-wrong Babysitters Club fic I wrote for mizzmarvel a couple of years ago. Huh.

It's been absolutely ages since I posted the first part of this fic, but I've been meaning to go back to it. I actually wrote this part, part two, quite some time ago, but floundered when it came to the third part which will resolve the whole thing. Somehow. See, the thing is, I'm still not sure how to resolve the story, so maybe posting the middle part will force my brain to come up with something!

In my further attempts to spam LJ like I've never spammed it before, I'm taking a leaf out of chaletian's book and looking back over some unfinished fan-fic.

I know I wrote the first one when I was drunk. I clearly remember checking my friends list and seeing a prompt on one of the newsletters I subscribe to. My drunken brain decided that I would be able to write the perfect story for that prompt. Sadly, after typing like a lunatic for ten minutes, I gave up and went to bed. The next morning I had forgotten what the prompt was or where I was going with the story. Despite the fact that Remus is mentioned nowhere, I know this was intended to be a Snupin fic.

I think we should all take a moment to admire my use of the word 'stymied', a word I am sure I've never used before. Thank you drunken brain for such a sparkling use of vocabulary.

I actually have at least two versions of the next beginning-of-a-fic and a notebook detailing plot and relevant song lyrics. Oh, yes. Remember the Damon/Rowan fic I was always going on about? This is it, baby!

Our next fic-in-the-making was to be written for arrowisland. Sadly, she wanted less plot and more porn so a different version was eventually finished. I like this one more though. Not that it really matters since I was writing it for her and she defriended me a while back - hmph!

For quite some time, I worked on a Chalet School story that was set in modern times. There are several incarnations which fill at least two notebooks, but this is the lucky one that made it on to the computer.

Our final entry was written shortly after I spent a month in Germany. I learned absolutely no German, was called a boy by a shopkeeper, but came away with a deep appreciation for Germany as a whole. I know there were other versions of this. Some of them much more explicit. I think I even stole some of the plot for this and put it in my Damon/Rowan fic. Yes, though he's not mentioned, Damon was to make a fanged appearance. The plan was that he would torment the girl in her dreams until she though she was going crazy and then the dreams would become reality, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

I've been thinking about cross-posting my blog entries here (yes, again marimac, but it's arrowisland's fault!). Any thoughts, opinions or generally wise statements on the subject?

So, because I like to blame my entries on people (often entirely appropriately), arrowisland is today's villain. If it wasn't for her I would never have started playing the Resident Evil games and I would certainly never have stared at a very sexy image of Chris Redfield for far too long *pimps current icon* And then, just before I'm about to go to sleep, this pops in to my head. In true Lorraine style it's a ficlet which has possibility of continuation, but who knows what'll happen... =D *apologises profusely to Bobby/JP fans*

I actually couldn't find it when I wrote the version I've already posted, which is why they're quite different. I like things about both versions, but I think this one steals my heart for its simplicity =D

This, well, I'm not entirely sure where I was going with it. I know what I wanted to get across, but I don't know if I managed to do it >.< On that note, comments are absolutely welcomed and I'd love to know what you thought I was trying to get across!
